As our business continues its growth, having achieved an estimated 13 M€ in revenue in 2023, we’re focusing on enabling future expansion. We are now looking to strengthen our Procurement team with an experienced Head of Procurement.

Experience in and insight for developing procurement
As the new Head of Procurement, you will play a key role in ensuring that our overall procurement function runs smoothly and meets targets in terms of quality and delivery times. You're an experienced and well-rounded procurement professional and have already gained insight and networks from various procurement roles. You'll be able to leverage your experience and lead the development of our procurement activities to effectively maximize value across the supply chain.
When joining the team, you will familiarize yourself with our operations and ways of working, including sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and supplier management. You help the team identify the biggest bottlenecks and develop the processes around them. Once you get more familiar with our business, you will take on more responsibilities, e.g., development projects on utilizing automation to improve process efficiency and the introduction of quality and PDM systems. As we are constantly looking for ways to develop our processes and aiming at creating sustainable products, you will play a significant role in developing our outsourced production and finding new manufacturing partners.
This team lead role focusing on overall procurement management and development is new in the company, so there are many opportunities to increase our expertise and further improve our supply chain and procurement processes. While you will be managing the big picture, this isn’t solely a managerial role – in a growth company of our size, everyone is ready to jump in and do hands–on operational work, if needed.
Supporting team to thrive
A big part of your job will be ensuring that process development and other development projects are continuously moving forward in the procurement team. You enable and steer the development projects by allocating resources and bringing expertise and tools for the team to optimize their work. Each of our three procurement professionals has autonomous lead responsibility for their own product families – ultimately your job is to enable their success in their work.
We don't expect you to take the lead on all development projects on your own but to work closely together with the team. However, we hope that you have the vision and proven track-record of leading projects and developing processes, and background in working in a supervisory role. We are currently building our leadership model with three new supervisors, and as the supervisor of your team, you will be part of this, too. Any experience in and insight into servant leadership and coaching will be seen as an asset.
You’ll work in close collaboration with our outsourced production and other external stakeholders, but also in different internal contexts. We would like to see the new colleague also bring procurement even closer to our daily operations and the rest of the organization. In this role, you’ll be synchronizing internal cooperation with R&D projects, as well as ensuring seamless collaboration with other daily operations. You will also support product management by participating in strategic planning and product life-cycle management.
What we would like to see
We are now looking for a development-oriented procurement professional to lead our Procurement team! We wish to find a colleague, who has a genuine curiosity towards our technology, and continuous hunger for learning. These will make you thrive in this role:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in leading international procurement or supply chain management in the field of technology
- Technical background or orientation in technology and electronics
- Experience in (or motivation to learn) Servant/Coaching Leadership Style and previous background in team lead work
- Excellent communication skills in English – other language skills are seen as a plus
- Ability to identify and communicate both opportunities and challenges
- Familiarity with logistics, sourcing, purchasing contracts, and supplier management
- Previous cross-cultural experience or experience in working with Asian suppliers is also an advantage
