Product Manager, Flight Simulators
Simucube is redefining what simulation products can be. From our office in Hervanta, Tampere, Finland, our team of 65+ passionate professionals who design and build products celebrated around the world for their unmatched performance and uncompromising quality.
Following our success in sim racing, we are now bringing that same obsession with precision and immersion into flight simulation.
We're looking for a Product Manager to own the vision, strategy, and execution of our flight simulator product line and to help us set a new benchmark for what flight sim products can be.
This role sits at the intersection of R&D, sales, marketing, user experience, and a passionate global community, and it's yours to shape from the ground up.
The role in a nutshell
• Full-time, permanent role based in Hervanta, Tampere. While we offer flexible working arrangements, we enjoy being together in the office and expect this role to have a regular on-site presence
• The salary range for this role is 4000–5200€/month, depending on your experience
• Own the product vision, roadmap, and execution for Simucube's flight simulator product line
• Work at the intersection of engineering, sales, community, and go-to-market — with real ownership and real impact

What you'll be doing
This is a rare opportunity to build a product line from scratch, in a community that holds authenticity and precision to an exceptionally high standard.
Together with our cross-functional teams, you'll define the product vision and multi-year roadmap for the flight sim product line, identifying target segments across general aviation, airliner, and military simulation, based on market opportunity and technical feasibility. You'll stay deeply embedded in the flight sim community — forums, Discord servers, YouTube reviewers, and expos like FlightSimExpo, tracking the competitive landscape, conducting user interviews, and translating real community insights into unambiguous product requirements.
As the central hub between hardware engineering, software, industrial design, manufacturing, QA, marketing, and sales, you'll keep all functions aligned on timelines, trade-offs, and launch criteria. You'll own the product requirements, run regular cadences, and make sure no team is surprised by decisions made elsewhere.
You'll own the direction of Tuner, our PC software platform for flight simulation, and ensure compatibility with major sim platforms.
On the go-to-market side, you'll partner with marketing on positioning, pricing, and launch timing, coordinate with sales and distribution channels, and plan beta and early-access programmes with community influencers and reviewers.
From day one, you'll be working toward a first product launch with everything that entails: nailing the spec, building community anticipation, and setting the bar for what Simucube flight sim means. Post-launch, you'll own software updates, accessory expansions, and the full product lifecycle through to end-of-life.
You'll work closely with our network of external advisors, dedicated flight sim enthusiasts and real-world pilots who bring domain knowledge no spec sheet can capture. Their input is a genuine part of how we build, and making the most of that network is part of your job.
What makes you thrive in this role
• 3–7 years of product management experience in consumer products — ideally in peripherals, gaming, simulation, or adjacent categories
• Strong technical acumen across hardware and software: able to engage with engineering, firmware, software, and manufacturing teams, make informed trade-offs, and own the complete user experience from device through configuration software and platform integrations
• Genuine interest in flight simulation or a related enthusiast domain, and the curiosity to go deep in a community that takes it seriously
• Excellent cross-functional communication: able to translate between engineering, design, marketing, and executive audiences
• Data-informed decision-making using both quantitative inputs and qualitative research • Experience with product lifecycles from concept through launch, post-launch iteration, and end-of-life
• Comfortable operating in a lean, fast-moving team where ownership is broad and hands-on involvement is expected
Nice to have:
• Background in aviation or flight training technology
• Familiarity with sim platform ecosystems (MSFS SDK, X-Plane plugin architecture, DCS modding)
• International market experience, particularly in regions with strong flight sim communities (North America, Central Europe, Asia-Pacific)
You don't need to tick every box. We're looking for someone who can own this space and make it real.

What you'll be part of
You'll be joining a company that already knows how to win and you'll be the first to take that standard into flight simulation.
As Simucube's first dedicated Product Manager for flight sim, you'll report to the Head of Product Management and work closely with the teams behind the products that set the benchmark in sim racing. You'll also have a network of external advisors at your side, real pilots and dedicated flight sim veterans who are as invested in getting this right as you are.
The flight sim community has been waiting for a brand that takes it seriously. You'll be the one to make that happen.
In return, we offer you
• People-first culture: Our employees are at the heart of everything we do. We offer a range of well-being benefits, including a paid 30-minute mid-day stroll daily, 400€/year well-being allowance (usable for sports, culture, or wellness), an extensive occupational healthcare plan, and access to high-quality sports equipment for borrowing
• Flexibility and freedom: We support a healthy work–life balance through flexible working hours and hybrid work options. You have a lot of freedom and responsibility in your daily work, but we believe that the best results are achieved together
• Continuous learning: We believe in supporting your growth. You can choose training or education programs we'll happily cover, and we provide access to professional literature of your choice
Throughout the recruitment and onboarding process, we'll take time to understand your interests and strengths. Together we'll shape a role that truly excites you.
