Summer Trainee, Supply Chain Management
Simucube is a game-changer in the world of sim racing and simulators. Here in Hervanta, Tampere, our team of 60 professionals creates products known for their top performance and high quality.
We're now looking for a Summer Trainee to join our growing and exciting Supply Chain Management team!
Gain hands-on experience in operational tasks in purchasing, logistics, and production support while participating in our process improvements and sustainability initiatives. You'll coordinate shipments, handle purchasing tasks, and collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders. Depending on your skills and interests, you may also contribute to compliance, process optimization, or research projects.
The role in a nutshell
This is a summer training position starting around May/June 2026
The salary range is approximately 2200-2700€/month, depending on your stage of studies
This is a full-time position based in Hervanta, Tampere
You must be an active student during the summer

What you'll do:
Purchasing operations – handling purchasing tasks
Logistics coordination – coordinating shipments
Production support – assisting with production-related operational tasks
Process improvements – participating in initiatives to optimize our supply chain processes
Sustainability projects – contributing to our sustainability initiatives
Additional projects – depending on your skills and interests, you may work on compliance, process optimization, or research projects
What you'll bring
We're looking for someone who:
Is organized, detail-oriented, and has strong planning skills
Is proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Has familiarity with ERP systems (a plus, but not required)
Communicates clearly and confidently in English (Finnish is a plus)
Has a growth mindset and eagerness to learn
Works independently and takes initiative
Is studying industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, logistics or economics/business or a related field
